Our journey began with Reef Fielding, one of our founders and software architects, who spent five years at Ernst and Young before co-founding what would become IPM Global. This invaluable experience has shaped our commitment to delivering top-tier software solutions. IPM Global has been utilising the Power Platform since its early Microsoft CRM days in 2008, capitalising on its robust capabilities and seamless Outlook and Office integration. By embedding IPM within the Microsoft Power Platform, our developers can concentrate solely on construction-specific requirements, supported by hundreds of Microsoft developers enhancing the platform and integrating it with the familiar Microsoft Office tools our customers have worked with for years.

Founding Directors
Reef Fielding
Reef Fielding is the Technical Architect of IPM, the flagship product of IPM Global. His journey in Information Technology began in the early 1980s on a Burroughs machine, working as a stock controller for a large automobile dealership. Recognised for his computing expertise, Reef was recruited by a Partner at Ernst and Young to lead their Computer Software Consulting practice. This role marked his first significant foray into the construction industry, as he secured business with several large broadacre development companies on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
During his tenure at Ernst and Young, Reef worked with Timberline Software, a leading construction product from North America, which at the time held a 35% market share in North American construction software sales. This experience led Reef to establish his own business, developing software for Timberline, which in turn acquired the IP in the early 2000s.
Alongside his development business, Reef ran a successful consulting firm that, at its peak, employed around 30 staff. The firm represented several accounting products, including Timberline, Microsoft, Sage, and SAP. Over time, Reef’s focus shifted entirely to software development, leading to the creation of IPM.
Today, the IPM product is a testament to technical excellence, leveraging the robust Microsoft platform and deep construction functionality. This success is also attributed to the close collaboration with customers and partners, ensuring continuous product improvement. Reef remains heavily involved in the development process, serving as the primary resource for the development of reporting and analysis aspects of IPM.
Miree Le Roy
Miree is a Director and founding partner of IPM Global. Her career in Information Technology began in the early 1990s as an expatriate in Papua New Guinea (PNG). In PNG she worked on implementing accounting systems and productivity tools and engaged Ernst and Young to assist with a number of financial implementation projects. Upon leaving PNG, Miree partnered with Reef Fielding to establish their first company, which became a leading Partner Dealer for Timberline and other accounting products.
As the business evolved, the focus shifted from consulting to software development, leading to the creation of IPM Global. Today, Miree collaborates closely with partners and Microsoft to stay ahead of industry changes, ensuring that IPM remains innovative and forward-thinking in a constantly evolving landscape.
